The hubby surprised me this weekend with No Doubt tickets. He kept it a secret for months but probably couldn't contain himself any longer. He slipped a few hints while we were getting ready to head up to Irvine. I figured out where we were heading before we got there. I played along til we got to the parking lot.

The concert was awesome. Gwen was amazing. And as a bonus, Paramore was one of the opening acts.

M and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary in Vegas last week. Since we didn't go to NY we thought it would be funny to stay at New York New York.

Finally got to watch The Beatles Love at the Mirage. The costumes and props were amazing. It wasn't very Cirque Du Soleil. Totally didn't get the stepping section. But other than that, the kids in the show were very amusing. I thought the shadow abbey road bit was hilarious. All you need is love almost made me cry.

It started with Friday night dinner. Made BBQ chicken and spinach dip or the cousins & co. Topped it off with some pear and blueberry pomegranate martinis for the girls.

Saturday I baked mini cheesecakes, chocolate cookie dough brownies and my new favorite coconut cookies.
